Mokokchung, June 18 (EMN): Altogether 423 cadets from various districts of Nagaland are attending a ten-day annual training camp at CRPF Camp, DEF, in Mokokchung town, where Deputy Commander, Col. KS Dalal, NCC Group Commander HQ, Kohima, paid a flying visit accompanied by Camp Commandant Col. V Srinivas.
Delivering his speech, Col. Dalal disclosed his satisfaction of the way the camp was run by highly competent ANOs’ and the training procedure of the system the cadets are imparted training.
Encouraging the cadets, the Colonel asked them to focus on the skills imparted during the camp as it will be a life changing experience for all as the training will impact a cadet behaviour, actions and deeds through different level of motivational skills imparted in the camp.
He said NCC aims at inculcating leadership, self-discipline amongst the cadet. He also added that through various camps and seminars, NCC strive to cultivate capable growth of human resource in every cadet and thereby contribute to nation building by making them informed and responsible citizen of the country.
It may be mentioned that the ten-day annual training camp kick started on June 16 and will culminate on 25 where 423 cadets from Mon, Longleng, Tuensang and Mokokchung are camped at CRPF Camp, DEF, in Mokokchung.
