Dimapur, Feb. 18 (EMN): Cadets of the National Cadet Corps of Nagaland on February 18 wrote for their B certificates during examinations that were conducted in Dimapur, Kohima, and Mokokchung.
B Certificate examination is a culmination of NCC training for NCC cadets who are in the second year of NCC, updates stated.
A press release from the NCC on Monday informed that cadets from various places across the state travelled to the examination centres “to appear for the exam.”
‘The cadets appeared for a three-hour long examination which started at 9 am which was followed by practical examinations on NCC subjects such as map reading, judging distance; field signals, weapon training, drills and aero-modelling,’ the press release stated.
‘The certificate has been recognized and those who successfully obtain it can get some benefits for jobs in security forces. Soon NCC would conduct C certificate examination for the cadets in final year of NCC. The NCC has expressed its gratitude to the colleges who spared their premises for the conduct of exams,’ the press release added.
