Dimapur, July 26 (EMN): The cadets currently undergoing the annual training camp of 24 Nagaland (Indep) Company NCC at Livingstone Foundation Hr Sec School, Dimapur were taken to the aviation base inside Rangaphar where they got 'the opportunity to see flying machines'.
A press release received here today stated that the nearly 400 NCC cadets "got a lifetime opportunity to see a helicopter from a close range taking off and landing".
The release stated that the cadets took keen interest 'to know from the pilots how a helicopter flies and understand the various controls at the aviation base inside the Rangaphar Army base.
The release stated that it 'was an impressionable moment' for many cadets who come from most interior parts of Nagaland 'to see a flying machine'.
The release stated that the visit left an indelible mark in the personal lives of the cadets also motivated them to undertake flying as a career.
