Dimapur, Feb. 15 (EMN): Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), in collaboration with the NSE Academy Limited, has announced plans to organise training for teachers on financial literacy course.
NBSE informed that training for class 9 teachers would be held on February 23 and for class 11 teachers on February 24 on the CISCO webex platform from 2 pm to 5 pm on both days.
It stated that Arindam Bakshi, who has been involved in retail finance industry and wealth management for the past 25 years, would be a resource person. He is associated with the International College of Financial Planning, Kolkata; EDGE; IISWBM; Kolkata BIBS; Kolkata, GAFA; and other various institutions. He has conducted numerous trainings and workshops on financial planning and wealth management throughout the country.
The board has requested all the heads of institutions offering financial literacy courses to depute teachers, who would be teaching the subject on the respective dates to the training. It added that the link and password for the training would be shared in the NBSE financial literacy whatsapp group at a later date.
