Dimapur, Nov. 30 (EMN): Marking the 1st Nagaland Honey Bee Day on 5th Dec., the Nagaland Beekeeping and Honey Mission(NBHM) organised a photo contest on the theme ‘beekeeping - a way of life for the Nagas’.
Altogether 49 photographers submitted their entries which were judged by Onenjungshi Ao, a professional wildlife photographer and Hopong Chang, a renowned, portrait, wedding, fashion, beauty and glamour photographer. The photos were judged on six criteria: impact, originality, composition, colour, subject and presentation. The winners of the contest are: 1st prize: Tsurila, (4th Mile, Dimapur), second prize: Lungliabeu Nren (Nkialwa, Peren) and consolation prizes for Megokiekho Yalie and Metsungnakba Longchar. The prizes will be distributed on Dec. 5 during the Nagaland Honey Bee Day function at NBHM multi-utility centre 6th Mile, Dimapur.
