A total of 28 young musicians were given recognition for completing basic music courses imparted by the Youth Department of Nepali Baptist Church Kohima (NBCK) as part of its music ministry.
A music graduation programme was organized on Nov. 12 by the youth dept. NBCK where 20 students were felicitated for completion of basic course on drums, five on keyboards and three on guitars. Course completion certificates were presented to the budding musicians by NBCK pastor, Surjay B Sapkota in presence of the music teachers Samuel Thabah (drums), Robin Thapa (keyboards) and Ashish Gurung (guitars).
Proprietor and teachers of Musician Studio Kohima also witnessed the performances by the students while also making special presentations.
NBCK vice chairman Radhika Chetri and member Neha Gurung compered the program, which commenced with invocation prayer by chairman Board of Deacons Rana Chetri and concluded with benediction by youth director Robi Thapa.
