Dimapur, July 28 (EMN): A two-day youth camp of the Nepali Baptist Church Chümoukedima (NBCC) was conducted on July 26 and 27 on the theme "Preparing for the future" (Jeremiah 29:11).
The camp was organised to inspire, enrich, and motivate the Christian Gorkha youth under Nepali Baptist Church Chümoukedima both spiritually and physically.
The main speakers of the conference was Richard Mech, pastor of United Baptist Church, Dubagaon. He enlightened the campers on career and spiritual growth and challenged the youth to come to a spiritual awakening.
Robert Aley, pastor of Nepali Baptist Church Chümoukedima, exhorted the campers and spoke about the meaning and purpose of the camp.
Praise and worship was led by Clouds of Glory worship team of NBCC. Various activities were also organised besides the sermons.
NBCC youth director, Manju Malla, encouraged the youth to stand firm in their commitment until the next youth camp in 2020.
Team King David was declared the champion of the youth camp, while Team Nazareth secured the 1st runners-up position and Team Agape won the best discipline award.
