The opening ceremony of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council’s 80th annual council which was conducted during February 3-5.[/caption]   Dimapur, Feb. 6: The Nagaland Baptist Church Council observed its 80th annual council during February 3-5, with the theme ‘Abundant Life.’ The program was hosted by the Zeme Baptist Church Council of Peren and held at Peren Town Baptist Church. The speakers for the event were Rev. Andrew Semp, director of the Nagaland Missions Movement; Rev. Dr. Wati Aier, principal of Oriental Theological Seminary; Rev. Achila Chang, women pastor of Tuensang Town Baptist Church and Rev. Moa Longchari, pastor of Baptist Mission Church of Kohima. The church leaders spoke on various topics focusing on abundant life in the unity of Jesus Christ, fellowship and service, among others. “The Nagaland Baptist Church Council would like to thank all the associations and churches under NBCC, program participants, delegates, families and individuals who have come forward to make the annual program a successful one. God bless you all,” the organisers stated.
