
Dimapur, March 5 (EMN): Considering clean election movement as a social responsibility of the church, the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) launched a poster campaign on March 2 at its office in Kohima on the theme “Doing right in the sight of God and people” (2 Cor. 8:22).
According to NBCC, the motive behind the movement was to conscientise the people that clean election movement is to engage believers in clean and honest politics.
The event was chaired by CEM convenor, Dr. Villo Naleo, while the campaign was launched its general secretary, Dr. Zelhou Keyho, and a prayer of dedication was said by Mosa Tsang, pastor of Pochury Baptist Church, Kohima.
Report stated that several individuals and a good number of pastors representing the Kohima Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship attended the meeting.
