The Nagaland Basketball Association has selected 15 players to represent the state at the upcoming Northeast Elite Basketball League in Aizawl.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) successfully conducted the U-19 Boys State Trials at the Indoor Stadium in Medziphema on Saturday.
According to an update, the trials witnessed the participation of 60 young players from across the state, showcasing their talent, discipline, and passion for basketball.
After rigorous evaluation, 15 players were selected to represent Nagaland in the forthcoming final official selection trials and draft picks in Aizawl, Mizoram, from May 18 to 20. In addition, two players were named as standbys to ensure depth and preparedness.

The selected players are Kelhouletuo Khrabvü (PF), Neikeduozo Seyie (PG), P Guizingba Pampuinath (PG), K Ruokuovilie Liezietsu (SG), Ediho Gideon Khizho (PG), Khüzhü O (SF), Thejakhriezo Sekhose (PG), Kevinguzo Belho (SF), Tokito K Swu (C), Renben C Shitri (PF), Hulupu Katty (SG), Sedevikuo David Kehie (PF), Mengusie Rino (SG), Dzuve Theluo (SG), and Vitsosier Chusi (PF).
The standbys are Dzüte Wetsah (PG) and Konmei P Leinak (SG).
The trials were overseen by a panel of experienced selectors comprising Sentiningsang Longkumer, Xusheto Zhimomi, Salew Kadete, Chumbenthung Humtsoe, Neichutuo Rutsa, Thejangulie Mekro, and Seyievizo Kire.
The Nagaland Basketball Association extended gratitude to the administration of Medziphema for allowing the use of the Indoor Stadium.
The final selected players will compete at the Northeast Elite Basketball League (U-19) in Aizawl, Mizoram, from June 22 to July 2.
