Dimapur, July 10 : The Northern Angami Youth Organisation (NAYO) expressed concern over traffic congestion in Kohima, and in accordance with the standing direction of Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, appealed to shop owners and business establishments along the Highways to remove the "No Parking" or "Parking for customers only" signage boards within its jurisdiction with immediate effect.
NAYO president Neizolie Rüpreo and press secretary Kiyasetuo Kengurüsie in a press note warned that action will be taken against those who do not comply. The NAYO also acknowledged the Youth Department of Kohima Ao Baptist Arogo for painting the four walkovers in the town as part of its mission KABA CARE. NAYO expressed hope that denizens of the State capital will maintain the public property.
Meanwhile, the organisation lauded the ACAUT for finding fact and exposing those behind fuel adulteration in the State. The NAYO therefore appealed to the concerned authority not to leave anyone so as to deliver justice to the victimised public.
