Dimapur, August 23 (EMN): The Northern Angami Youth Organisation (NAYO) has vehemently condemned the act of some miscreant(s) who fired firearms at the Hotel Vivor, Kohiam on August 21 at around 10:30 p.m.
“The organisation had earlier appealed the individuals/public/political groups to refrain from doing anti-social activities which may harass the sentiment and emotion of the public and effect the peaceful atmosphere of its jurisdiction, however, having seen some unidentified miscreant(s) trying to provoke the already existing tense situation, demand the law enforcing agencies to enquire the case and book the culprit(s) at the earliest,” stated the press release. NAYO also appealed the law enforcing agencies to stay more vigilant in order prevent such acts in future.
Meanwhile, NAYO expressed its sincere gratitude to Vekhosa Chakhesang, Commandant of 4th NAP and his battalion for constructing the pedestrian footbridge at Sanuorü in Kohima. The organisation also extended its gratitude to individuals who extended their supports in this noble venture.
