The Nationalist Congress Party officially merged with the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party under the 56th AC Noklak constituency on Friday.

KOHIMA — The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) officially merged with the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) under the 56th AC Noklak constituency in a dedicatory programme held at Noklak on Friday, in the presence of local MLA P Longon.
With the merger, the leaders of the constituency vowed to work together with sincerity for the common good, an update stated.
MLA P Longon; Chollen, division president of NCP and Phem, region NDPP region president, addressed the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by A Ngon, area president NCP while Luzo, associate pastor of NTBC invoked God’s blessings.
Earlier, address was delivered by PM Lamthai, NDPP area president.
Rev. B Chellia pronounced dedicatory prayer.
