National workers reaffirm support to collective leadership

Muivah. The affirmation of allegiance to the collective leadership was taken during the joint consultative meeting of the Angami and Chakhesang national workers held on January 19. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the eternal bond of brotherhood and also to reach out to all the Naga brothers and sisters everywhere in the same spirit, NSCN (IM) has stated this in a press release issued by its MIP. The Angami and Chakhesang national workers, who are firmly grounded on the principle that Nagas have their own inseparable and universal natural rights to self determine her own political future, have reaffirmed their unconditional support to the collective leadership led by its vice president Gen. (retd.) Kholi Konyak, and the ato kilonser Th. Muivah. The joint consultative meeting was attended by collective leadership members including Lieut. Col. (retd.) Neipfupe Venuh and KK Angami along with a host of steering committee executive members, steering committee members, kilonsers, deputy kilonsers, tatars and regional authorities. The meeting further reaffirmed its support to the August 3, 2015, Framework Agreement signed by the NSCN leaders late Isak Chishi Swu and Th. Muivah with the Government of India, through which the GOI recognised the unique history and situations of the Nagas.
