Dimapur, July 28 (EMN): A one-day national seminar on ‘Research methodology in social science’ was held at Zunheboto Government College on July 26 with the Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo, as the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner encouraged students to grab every opportunity and learn from their teachers. He called upon the students to cooperate with the district administration to fight and strive for better Zunheboto as well as Nagaland.
Two technical sessions were held during the seminar. The first session dwelled on research methodology in social sciences, while the second was on statistical package of social sciences.
The welcome address was delivered by the college principal, Dr. K Nishena Mekha, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. M Pushparaj, HoD Economics. The seminar was organised by IQAC and Research Committee of Zunheboto Government College.
