NPYF Dimapur district appreciates Nagaland government for the timely appointment of the NPSC chairman.

DIMAPUR — The National People’s Youth Front (NPYF) Dimapur district has lauded the state government for the ‘timely appointment of the chairman of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC)’.
In an update, Zato Sumi, NPYF Dimapur district president, stated that the appointment followed an appeal submitted by the party highlighting the urgency of the matter.
Further, the party stated that the appointment comes at a crucial time when thousands of aspiring candidates are facing uncertainty. According to it, the induction of the NPSC chairman will ensure the smooth functioning of the commission, timely conduct of examinations, and restoration of confidence among unemployed youth and job aspirants.

Acknowledging the “positive and responsive approach” of the state government in addressing the concerns raised and acting in the larger public interest, it was maintained that the party believes that such prompt decisions reflect the government’s commitment to transparency, efficiency, and good governance.
The party further urged the NPSC to function independently, fairly, and efficiently so that merit-based recruitment is ensured and public trust in constitutional institutions is strengthened.
NPYF Dimapur district reiterated its commitment to continue raising issues affecting the public and working constructively with the government for the welfare and development of the state.
