Nathan Hostel quarantine centre declared containment zone

Mokokchung, Aug. 24 (EMN): After a security personnel was detected Covid-19 positive on August 23 from Nathan Hostel quarantine centre at Fazl Ali Campus in Chuchuyimpang village, the deputy commissioner of Mokokchung has declared the facility as containment zone on Monday.

According to official update, the current status of Covid-19 in the district is: 20 positive cases, three active cases and 17 recoveries.

The deputy commissioner of Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir, stated in an order that the containment zone is declared in the larger interest of the public health and safety as per the  SOP issued by the directorate of Health and Family Welfare.
