KOHIMA — The Northern Angami Students' Union (NASU) organised a felicitation programme for toppers and subject toppers on May 10 at Christ King Hall in Kohima village.
An update from the organisers informed that Sabou Yashü, director of Information Technology and Communication, Government of Nagaland, attended the occasion as the guest speaker.
It stated that Yashü lauded the toppers for their unwavering sacrifices and outstanding accomplishment and further encouraged them to be rooted in Christ and build up in Him as they continue to pursue further studies.
During the programme, a song was presented by students of Government Middle School, Seiyhama village, and a speech on behalf of toppers was delivered by Akhriekuo-ü Theünuo.
On the occasion, greetings were pronounced by Kedisenuo Keditsu, president of NAWO, and Mhasimhalie Mathew Yhome, advisor of NASU.
Pelesielie Khro, treasurer of NASU led the programme, while Dr. Mhalevilie Sote, associate pastor of Baptist Revival Church, invoked God's blessings and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Meciezolie Yano.
