Niuland district administration holds Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyaan at GHS Aghunaqa

DIMAPUR — The Niuland district administration and District Hub for Empowerment of Women (Sankalp) organised Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyaan at Government High School, Aghunaqa, Niuland district, on March 27, to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and promote a drug-free lifestyle.
According to a DIPR report, EAC Aghunaqa, M Khenpa, delivered the keynote address, emphasising the importance of a collective effort in combating substance abuse.
He urged everyone to join the movement towards a Nasha Mukht Bharat.
A painting competition was held on the theme "Say yes to life, no to drugs", encouraging students to express their views on the issue.
Prizes were distributed by Kelengunuo Solo, EAC Niuland, to the winners.
Earlier, the programme began with an invocation by Vikali L Chishi, followed by a special presentation by Merryka Sumi, accounts assistant.
Diketo S Jimomi, gender specialist, proposed the vote of thanks.
The event was chaired by Tunato I Zhimo, gender specialist.
