Co-Convenor of the National Trade and Industry Cell and North East Incharge of the ‘Namo India’ project, as well as a business mentor of the North East region, Sanjay Jha, will be launching the Namo India Project in the State on December 20 at 11 A.M. in Dimapur. He will also be briefing on the business aspects of the project. All the youths, educated unemployed and people in search of business opportunities have been requested to attend the same. State BJP Secretary (Media), Jaangsillung Gonmei in a release said, ‘Namo India’ Project is a business initiative designed around the theme set by the Prime Minister to promote ‘Make in India’. It aims to encourage and promote the manufacture and merchandise of local products produced by local youths and business entrepreneurs with minimum investments but with maximum profits. The project is expected to benefit particularly the unemployed youths. While the business transaction is currently popular online, efforts are on to expand to stores.
Sanjay Jha will be briefing on the business aspects of the project with focus on the scope and opportunities available in the North East region. Arunachal Pradesh has already launched the project on December 15 and will be opening a ‘Namo Store’ in Itanagar on December 25.
