Dimapur, July 10 (EMN): Poumai Naga Tsii doumai Me Bangalore (PNTMB) along with the Naga Students’ Union Bangalore (NSUB) and well-wishers organised a candle light vigil service in commemoration of 32nd “Operation Bluebird” on July 9.
The candle light vigil service was organised to show solidarity with the brave-hearts of Oinam hill village and 30 other neighbouring villages affected by the infamous operation.
The programme began with Poumai Anthem after which the crowd was addressed by D Thopulou, president of PNTMB, followed by a rich tribute to the martyrs from Nuthipru Nienu, president of NSUB.
Life experiences and testimonies of the tragic incident was shared by Veilou Albert and Rev. Dr. KH Reihe, which was followed by lighting of candle and observance of a minute of silence for the departed souls. A prayer was said by Dr. Rev. KH Reihe, pastor of Poumai Naga Baptist Church Bangalore.
Sailor Kyapaomai, former president of PNTMB, delivered the vote of thanks and concluded with a benediction said by PP Pangao, Advisor of PNTMB.
