Kohima, Dec. 2 (EMN): It is only two days since the annual Hornbill Festival began but the stall belonging to Nagaland Bee Keeping & Honey Mission is being swarmed by sweet toothed-customers, both old and new, to have a taste of the sweet product.
T Imtiwapang Aier, deputy secretary and team leader of the mission told Eastern Mirror that the response from visitors and customers was more than the expectations of the team. He revealed that two varieties of honey namely Rock bee bitter honey and stingless bee honey that was introduced at the stall had already sold out. Besides, he said, there are two other varieties: Cerana honey and rock bee honey, is also selling like sweet cakes, no pun.
Aier said that the department has launched six new varieties of spiced honey products besides flavoured lip balm.
Likewise, the official spoke about ‘soothing balm’ that are said to come in two varieties besides a moisturizer, said to be a favourite among customers and visitors.
