Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally rises to 11930 as one fresh case detected

Dimapur, Jan. 3 (EMN): Nagaland recorded one fresh Covid-19 case on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 11,930.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘One positive case of Covid-19 was detected today (Sunday) from Dimapur. Also, nine active positive patients have recovered- three each from Dimapur and Phek, two from Mokokchung and one from Kohima,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 178 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 153 are asymptomatic, 17 mild, three moderate on oxygen, one severe on oxygen and four on ventilators. The state has also recorded 11,542 recoveries and 79 deaths, out of which 10 have been ruled ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 71 cases, followed by Kohima-62, Mokokchung-40, Peren-4, and Kiphire-1, while Mon, Phek, Wokha, Zunheboto, Tuensang and Longleng have zero cases.
