Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally reaches 9503 with 29 new cases detected

Dimapur, Nov. 9 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 29 new Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 9503.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘29 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Monday); Kohima-14, Dimapur-13, Peren and Tuensang one each.  Also, 73 positive patients have recovered; Dimapur-49, Kohima-20, Kiphire-3 and Tuensang-1,’ tweeted the minister.

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 941 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 887 are asymptomatic, 29 mild, 10 moderate on oxygen, 10 severe on oxygen and five critical cases in ICU. The state has also recorded 8423 recoveries and 46 deaths, out which six are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 592 cases, followed by Kohima-221, Mon-88, Mokokchung-16, Tuensang-13, Peren-6, Zunheboto-2, one each in Kiphire, Wokha and Phek, while Longleng  has zero cases so far.
