The chairmanof Chokri Area Baptist Church Council, Rev. Vevotso Theluo, hoisted the flag, while Kehuve Chuzho, pastor of Khulazu Basa Baptist Church, spoke on the topic 'Stand firm in the truth.'
Chuzho stated that the works done by Jesus Christ is all perfect but was all ruined by man himself.
"Are we trying to get infront of Jesus by following lies? Let's not. We shall not. We should stand firm in truth," he challenged the gathering.
Chuzho pointed out that bad behaviours like dishonouring parents, elders, engaging in anti social elements have become common in this generation. He, therefore, called upon the youth to follow the right path and reminded that “what they sow today will be reap tomorrow.”
