Nagaland: Veteran badminton tournament concludes

Dimapur, Nov. 25 (EMN): Smasher’s Club organised its 1st Veteran Badminton Tournament on November 23 and the 24th at K Sachu Colony in Dimapur.

An update received here on Wednesday informed that the tournament was held for doubles category with 40+ as entry age bar was and a total of 22 teams participated in the 2-day event.

Akangyanger and Raj Kumar Das were declared winners and walked away with a cash prize of INR 10,000 while Johnson Pamei and Manoj Singh secured the runners-up position and walked away with a cash prize of INR 5000.

The press release stated that Smasher’s Club followed the SOPs throughout the tournament.
