DIMAPUR — Central Library Lumami, Nagaland University, in collaboration with Elsevier, organised a webinar aimed at enhancing research productivity by providing training on the use of the Scopus bibliographic database to students, faculty, and scholars on May 28.
According to a press release, the objective of the webinar was to familiarise participants with Scopus and its functionalities, enabling them to conduct efficient research.
The webinar titled ‘Elevating research productivity through Scopus" had Dr. Nitin Ghoshal, a customer success manager at Elsevier, South Asia, as the resource person and had 130 participants.
The session covered various topics, including navigating the Scopus interface, advanced search techniques, bibliometric analysis, and research planning and collaboration.
Ghoshal elaborated on additional features such as journal metric systems, saved searches, alert services, and journal selections.
