Nagaland University delegation attends 62nd All India Political Science conference and international seminar.

DIMAPUR — Vice-Chancellor of Nagaland University Prof. Jagadish K Patnaik, HoD of Dept. of Political Science Prof. Dasarathi Bhuiyan, Associate Professor Dr. Shasanka Sekhar Pati, and six PhD scholars from the Dept. of Political Science, Nagaland University attended the 62nd All India Political Science Conference and International Seminar.
The event was organised by the Indian Political Science Association (IPSA) and Kalinga Institute of Social Science (KISS), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on December 27 and the 28th, the university stated in an update.
The theme of the conference was ‘We the people of Bharat’ and was attended by vice-chancellors from different universities, senior professors and delegates from across the country.
During the conference, the scholars from Nagaland University presented research papers in different panels.
The executive council for Indian Political Science Association 2026-2027 was also announced during the conference. Prof. Dasarathi Bhuiyan was elected as an executive member of the association for the upcoming tenure.
