Nagaland: Tuensang discusses Covid vaccination

Dimapur, Dec. 11 (EMN): Tuensang District Task Force for administration planning for Covid vaccination organised a meeting at DC’s conference hall Tuensang with deputy commissioner of the district, Kumar Ramnikant, as the chairman.

The DC stated that vaccination for Covid-19 in the district will be a huge task, which is why involvement of civil societies is vital for successful implementation of the vaccination programme, informed an update from DIPR.

He encouraged the participants to give full co-operation and be prepared so that there will not be any problem during the implementation process.  

Thungchembeni, DIO Tuensang, highlighted the preparatory phase for the administration of the vaccination programme and that the frontline workers will be given the preference in the first phase before the rest of the population will follow. She also explained the details -- challenges and problems.
