Nagaland: Treasury & Accounts directorate issues alert on pending e-NPS contributions

DIMAPUR — The Directorate of Treasury & Accounts (T&A) has notified that e-NPS contributions are yet to be updated on the portal by several DDOs.

According to a DIPR report, all DDOs have been requested to ensure that pending e-NPS contributions made through e-NPS challan are updated on the Nodal Treasury portal by September 15.

An Action Taking Report (ATR) on the backlog updating done may be forwarded to Directorate of Treasury & Accounts, Kohima, by September 30.

In case of any difficulty or issue while updating on the e-NPS portal, the same may be brought to the notice of the Directorate of Treasury & Accounts office at the earliest.

Further, DDOs have been advised to regularly download and securely maintain the archived data from the e-NPS portal.

“This practice not only facilitates routine compliance for verification, reconciliation, and audit, but also ensures contingency preparedness by safeguarding records for restoration in case of any system malfunction or database failure,” it stated.
