Nagaland to host Finance Department workshop for HoDs at Kohima to sensitise on financial policies and governance matters.

DIMAPUR — Under the initiative of the Finance Department, the Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts is organising a workshop for the Heads of Departments (HoDs) on the May 6 at 9:30 am at the Capital Convention Centre, Kohima.
According to a DIPR report, the workshop has been curated to comprehensively sensitise the HoDs on key aspects of financial matters and core policies, currently implemented under the state government.
The Department of Treasuries & Accounts requested the presence of all the HoDs along with a senior officer to attend the workshop.

Finance Commissioner, Nagaland, Kesonyu Yhome, will propose the keynote address.
The resource persons of the workshop are Amenla Jamir, Director, Treasuries & Accounts; Ketoulhou Metha, OSD Budget, Finance Department; Vechiso Chakhesang, Addl. Director, Treasuries & Accounts; I. Aochuba Pongener, Addl. Director, Treasuries & Accounts; Chibemo Shitirie, Sr. Audit Officer, O/o the Accountant General; Shaji K, Sr. Accounts Officer, O/o the Accountant General; AienlaPongen, former consultant contract management, NHP (World Bank).
Further, the HoDs have been requested to communicate their participation at 8798747800 as early as possible to enable the department to make necessary arrangements for the event.
