Dimapur, July 26 (EMN): Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Kohima along with District Health Society, department of Health & Family Welfare, NHM conducted a two-day training on Family Planning Logistics Management Information System (FP-LMIS) for BPMs, BACs, Pharmacists, LHV and DEOs at the CMO’s conference hall on July 23 and 24th.
The objective of the training was to strengthen logistics and supply chain management under National Family Planning programme, informed an update from Dr. Laso Lazar, Chief Medical Officer, Kohima.
“An overview of the training inculcate the ground stock and annual demand, purchase, supplier, interface and challan process, indent and issue process, issue to client and inter transfer process, reports and dashboard, mobile application and mobile SMS application,” read the update.
The participants had pre–course knowledge assessment and post–course knowledge assessment which included hands-on entry in the web application. With this Family Planning Logistics Information Management System training, the logistics and supply chain management for family planning services will be online system, it said.
Altogether, 32 people attended the training. Neinguseno BPM Sechü block and Kiyekhu Store Keeper, CMO’s office, were the trainers of the programme.
