will likely experience isolated to scattered rainfall activity in the next
seven days, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
- In an update issued on Monday, the IMD predicted isolated to
scattered rainfall activity over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram,
Tripura, West Bengal, and Sikkim during the next seven days.
- It also forecasted thunderstorm and lightning activity over
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura
during February 18 to 20, with gusty winds (speed 30-40 kmph) over Assam,
Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on February 19.
- The district-wise update showed that on February 18 and the
19th, Tuensang, Kohima, Phek, and Kiphire districts will likely experience
squalls, thunderstorms, and lightning.
