- DIMAPUR — The
Nagaland muaythai team is set to participate in the 6th National Muaythai
Championship, scheduled to be held in Rohtak, Haryana, from June 9 to the 14th.
- This championship will also serve as the selection event for
the 3rd Asian Youth Games (AYG), scheduled to take place in Bahrain from
October 22 to the 31st, according to an update.

- The athletes representing Nagaland in various weight
categories are Aputo (45 kg), Maongtemjen Imsong (48 kg), T. Chingjei Konyak
(51 kg), A. Hisato Aye (54 kg), Niuka Chophi (57 kg), Emtiramok Amri (63.5 kg),
Vihuto Sema (67 kg), Phongmei Phom (75 kg), and Onendi (85 kg).
- The team will be led by state coach Hemavi and team manager
Pangmie Konyak.

- The All Nagaland Amateur Muaythai Association (ANAMA) has
extended gratitude to Opang Imchen of Potentia Institute, Dimapur, for
sponsoring the official team uniforms for the Nagaland Muaythai contingent.
