Nagaland team jersey launched for Dr. T Ao Junior Girls National Football Championship

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland state team’s official jersey for the Dr. T Ao Junior Girls National Football Championship was unveiled at Chümoukedima Football Stadium on Tuesday.

According to an update, W Nginyeih Konyak, chairperson of the Nagaland State Commission for Women, launched the jersey and recalled her own playing days, noting that women’s sports lacked the support they enjoy today.

She urged the young athletes to seize the current opportunities, stating that sport teaches discipline, unity, care, and peace, and expressed hope they will represent Nagaland nationally and internationally.
