DIMAPUR — Nagaland
on December 4 successfully conducted PARAKH Rashtriya Sarveksha 2024 formerly
known as National Achievement Survey (NAS) to assess the learning outcomes and
overall health of education.
The survey report would reflect the efficacy of
interventions in the schools and determine the performance grading index (PGI)
of the state in education.
The survey was conducted by PARAKH, NCERT, New Delhi, and CBSE
at the centre. In the state, Samagra Shiksha along with SCERT facilitated the
survey.
The conduct of the survey was closely monitored by the
observers from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and CBSE, New
Delhi.
The commissioner and secretary of School Education and
SCERT, state mission director of Samagra Shiksha Nagaland, director of SCERT
Nagaland and chairperson of NBSE supported by 16 state monitoring teams for 16
districts comprising officials from SCERT, Directorate of School Education,
NBSE and Samagra Shiksha supported the district level coordinators (DLC),
officials from the District Mission Authority (DMA) and EBRC to ensure the
conduct of the survey as per the PARAKH guidelines.
A total number of 22820 students of Grade 3, 6 and 9 from
732 sample schools from government, private and central schools in Nagaland
participated in the PARAKH Survey 2024.
