S K Shukla, Commander of Headquarters 6 Sector Assam Rifles, flagged off the
"National Integration Tour" from Dimapur (Nagaland) to Rajkot
(Gujarat) on December 24.
- According to an update, the initiative aims to foster unity
and understanding among the youth of the nation by providing them with an
enriching journey across different cultural landscapes.
- The tour, spanning 15 days, will take 25 students from
various districts of Nagaland on an expedition to the 25th Rashtra Katha
Shivir, organised by the Shri Vedic Mission Trust at Pransla, Rajkot, Gujarat.
- Students were encouraged to share their rich cultural
heritage with other participants, acting as ambassadors of the vibrant
traditions, languages, and values of the northeast.
- The Assam Rifles expressed gratitude to the students and
teachers for embracing this experience.
