Dimapur, March 21 (EMN): Department of Political Science, Unity College organised a student research colloquium on ‘Understanding Local Self-Governance in Nagaland: Functioning of Village Councils’ at the college on Monday.
Dr. Rimmei Longmei, head of the department of Political Science spoke about the importance of research and the need to introduce it to the students at the college level, a press release informed.
Nine student colloquists -- Imsensola Ao, Marilyn Odyuo, Lito Chophy, Kiyilungdiak Hengame, Eunice S Ezung, Wangphoa N Konyak, Imtisenla Longkumer, Khunyu T Shiu -- presented their research papers.
The colloquium was attended by Dr. Lichumo Enie, principal, Unity College and Dr. Adani Ngullie, IQAC coordinator, Unity College along with all the faculty members.
