- DIMAPUR — Nagaland
State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) under the Rural Development Wokha block
conducted a two-day village-level convergence camp in Old Changsu and Longsa
villages on May 15 and 16.
- An update from NSRLM Wokha block stated that the convergence
camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, which was designed to
deliver holistic benefits through integrated service delivery.
- Key departments and agencies present at the event included
Rural Development, Food and Civil Supplies, Medical, Veterinary, Aadhar
enrolment team, Indane Gas agency, Public Health Engineering, District Hub for
Empowerment of Women, and Statistics and Economics.

- In his keynote address, Nzanbemo Y Patton, block programme
manager, emphasised the importance of collaboration for stronger
inter-departmental coordination to ensure holistic, inclusive and sustainable
development.
- The core idea of the camp, according to him, was to bridge
the gaps in service delivery, build more responsive and accountable system. He
stated that such convergence could make government schemes more accessible,
efficient and impactful at the grassroots.
- He further stressed the importance of convergence to ensure
that rural citizens are not left behind in the journey of development.
- Report stated that over 490 beneficiaries participated in
the two-day convergence camp and availed various services.
