Nagaland State Dental Council inducts new team led by Dr. Reyosalu Lase and discusses state rules during its quarterly meeting.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland State Dental Council (NSDC) held its quarterly meeting at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur, on February 7, which included the induction of newly appointed office bearers of the council.
According to a press release, the meeting was attended by both outgoing and incoming members. The meeting was called to order by the outgoing president, Dr. H Hotokhu Chishi.
The induction of the new team and handing over of responsibilities was conducted by Dr. Meribeni Odyuo.
In his address, Dr. Chishi stressed the urgent need for early framing of the State Dental Council Rules to ensure smoother administration, effective regularisation, and improved function of the council in the interest of dental professionals and public oral health in Nagaland.

The business session was presided over by Dr. Imtiwabang Pongener, Registrar of NSDC. During the session, routine quarterly matters concerning the function of the council were reviewed, including the registration of all dental clinics, administrative issues, and measures aimed at strengthening dental services in the state.
The new team of the NSDC for the next tenure includes Chairperson Dr. Reyosalu Lase, Department Representative Dr. I Arenla Walling, and Registrar Dr. Imtiwabang Pongener.
Members from state dental registers include Dr. Meribeni Odyuo, Dr. Chiekroshuyi Tetseo, Dr. N Moangangba Jamir, and Dr. Nzanthung Humtsoe. Senior dentists include Dr. Pfukrolo Koza and Dr. Aoyanger Imchen. Senior private practitioners include Dr. Arihant Jain and Dr. Naomi Rio Zhimomi.
State government nominees are Dr. Neingutunuo Angami and Dr. Esther Chophy. Other post holders include Deputy Registrar Dr. Neichukholie Vupru and Secretary Dr. I Simon Sumi.
