DIMAPUR — The Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) will conduct Mahila Jan Sunwai (public hearings) in Longleng and Mon districts on March 12 and March 13 respectively to address grievances related to women’s rights and welfare.
According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Longleng, the hearing in Longleng district will be held on March 12 at the DPDB Hall in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, beginning at 10 am. The hearing will be chaired by the Chairperson of the Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW), W Nginyeih Konyak.
During the hearing, pending complaints will be reviewed for disposal, while walk-in complaints submitted by aggrieved individuals will also be taken up. All concerned have been requested to take note of the scheduled hearing and extend necessary cooperation.

In a separate notification, Deputy Commissioner of Mon, Wennyei Konyak, informed that the NSCW Chairperson will visit Mon district to conduct a Mahila Jan Sunwai on March 13 at the Conference Hall of the Office of the DC, Mon.
Women who wish to raise grievances or seek assistance on issues related to women’s rights and welfare have been encouraged to attend the public hearing and present their concerns before the commission.
