BS&G team after the consultative meeting at the DC’s office in Wokha town
on Wednesday.
- DIMAPUR — A team
of Nagaland state Bharat Scouts and Guides (BS&G) on Wednesday visited
Wokha and held a consultative meeting with the district BS&G at the DC’s
conference hall.
- Vineet Kumar, deputy commissioner and Wokha district
president of BS&G, highlighted the activities initiated by the district
unit in motivating the youth to join the movement. He assured the visiting
officials to support the district BS&G in taking up activities by
instilling the minds to become responsible citizens.
- Nino Iralu, state commissioner (Guides) of NSBS&G,
lauded the district and stated that BS&G Wokha is the most performing
district in the state. She highlighted the role of Nagaland state BS&G and
concludes the first session with a note of gratitude to the district president
for warm welcome and successful conduct of the meeting.
- Other activities initiated by the visiting teams included
highlights of BS&G by SOC (G); BS&G in schools by SOC (S); Importance
and acquaintance of higher trainings for unit leaders pronounced by STC (S) and
district report presented by DOC (S), Wokha.
- The state BS&G team also visited various schools in and
around Wokha.
