- DIMAPUR — Zeliang
Codetech Pvt. Ltd., a homegrown start-up from Nagaland, has won the Youth
Co:Lab National Innovation Challenge 2024–2025 in the ‘Inclusive and Accessible
Assistive Technology’ category.
- According to an update, the award was given in recognition
of its innovation “ZOULES”, a compact smart attachment that can convert a
manual wheelchair into an electric wheelchair or e-bike.

Duplikhum Langtithonger of Zeliang Codetech receives the
seed grant at the Youth Co:Lab National Innovation Challenge 2024-25 in
Bengaluru on June 13.
- Co-founded by Duplikhum Langtithonger, who also serves as
the senior creative head, the start-up was awarded a seed grant following its
successful pitch at the national bootcamp held in Bengaluru.
- The challenge was co-led by the United Nations Development
Programme (UNDP) and Citi Foundation and implemented in India in collaboration
with Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, and AssisTech Foundation (ATF).
ZOULES was developed to offer an affordable mobility solution for persons with
disabilities (PwDs).

- Duplikhum represented the start-up during the five-day
bootcamp, which included training sessions on fundraising, branding, market
entry strategies, and pitching. The programme featured engagements with
national-level mentors and resource persons from the tech and innovation
sector.
- Zeliang Codetech was declared winner in its category,
selected among the top six finalists.
