Nagaland Science Mission invites Naga researchers and scientists to register and submit entries for state awards
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Science Mission, functioning under the Department of Science and Technology, has invited eligible Naga technologists, innovators, researchers, and scientists to register for its human resource database and submit nominations for the state Science and Technology Awards.
The initiative aims to build a unified networking platform for indigenous Nagas within the scientific community to foster research and sustainable development across the state, according to a DIPR report.
The updated database will serve as the benchmark for identifying and nominating candidates for the state honours in recognition of their national and international contributions.
The awards include the Nagaland Science Award, instituted to honour distinguished contributions in science and technology, and the Young Scientist Award, open to candidates aged 35 years and below.
