Kohima, July 15 (EMN): Riparian Social Welfare Foundation (RSWF) based in Chümoukedima has extended aids towards the flood relief in Majuli Island, Assam, on July 12.

A RSWF’s release informed that the team was led by its managing director, Vezosulu Rhakho, along with eight other members. The team visited two villages on the island and provided rations and grocery items to 80 households.

It stated that the foundation with its motto “Sowing to embroider change,” exists to reach out to people in need and help them develop a sustainable source of livelihood and also to make a lasting impact on the lives of people and families.

“RSWF believes that every human being has the natural potential to appreciate the dignity of labour, work hard and live without fear of poverty,” it added.
