DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Revival and Healing Festival 2025 is set to be held from December 2 to the 4th at the State Stadium near the DC Court in Dimapur.

The festival’s organising committee, The Gatekeepers, announced this during a press conference on Wednesday in Dimapur.

Apostle Ankit Sajwan from New Delhi, founder of Ankit Sajwan Ministries and senior pastor of FOLJ Church, will headline the three-day festival. Wabong Longchari, lead pastor of The Lighthouse Church and convenor of the festival, expressed confidence that the speaker's message will resonate with the people of Nagaland.

Noting that the event coincides with the Hornbill Festival, Longchari stated that the revival is not a counter-programme but an invitation for visitors to experience the Gospel of Jesus, adding, “the only thing we can give them is the Gospel of Jesus.” The organisers look forward to welcoming tourists and locals alike.

The committee stated that it is expecting attendees from all over the Northeast. It expects around 30,000 attendees, noting that the gallery of the incomplete stadium can accommodate 40,000 people. The pastor also mentioned that they are ensuring easy access for the sick, disabled, and elderly.

On the logistics, he explained that securing the venue was the biggest obstacle, as they had to lay down roads and install lighting. He stated that more than 700 volunteers are involved, including 250 from Livingstone College.

Ben Kithan, the festival’s convenor, explained that they are driven by a shared burden to make Nagaland a better place and to reclaim the faith legacy of the Naga people.

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to the anonymous partners, the various associations, churches and individuals who have joined us. This collaboration is vital because we’re striving for a shared goal, not as a single denomination or Church, but as a united body of believers from every background across our land.

“We invite each of you to partner with us, to carry the burden that belongs to everyone, to answer the call we’ve received, and to reclaim the legacy of Christidentity that defines us. Together, in unity and cooperation, let’s move forward,” Kithan conveyed.

For outofstate viewers, he noted that contact numbers are printed on the campaign posters for any queries.

Secretary Pastor Edward Odyuo said that the festival belongs to everyone. He informed that the gates will be open at 2 pm; from 3 pm to 5 pm there will be a praise fiesta, followed by the main service at 5 pm. Food stalls will be on site, and special tented areas will be provided for people with disabilities, the sick and the elderly.

Naomi Zhimomi, a member of The Gatekeepers, also extended an invitation for everyone to join the festival.
