Nagaland reports 4 new COVID cases

Dimapur, Sep. 17 (EMN): The number of active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland increased to 12 with four new cases reported on Saturday.

The total number of COVID cases in the state stands at 35,945 with one case each reported from Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung and Wokha during the last 24 hours.

The state’s cumulative recoveries increased to 33,639 with two recoveries during the same period.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the pandemic stands at 776.

Out of the 11 active cases, seven are asymptomatic and five mild.

In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, Dimapur and Kohima have four cases each, and two each in Mokokchung and Wokha, while the remaining districts are currently COVID-free.
