Dimapur, Feb. 15 (EMN): Nagaland on Tuesday reported 39 new Covid-19 cases, taking the state’s tally to35274 and active tally to cases to 382.
According to data from the department of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima reported 14 new cases, Dimapur 13, Tuensang six, two each in Mokokchung and Tuensang, and one each in Mon and Wokha.
Meanwhile, the death toll increased to 749 with one more Covid death reported in the last 24 hours.
90 recoveries were also recorded during the same period – 38 in Dimapur, 37 in Kohima, five each in Longleng and Tuensang, four in Mokokchung and one in Wokha.
India recorded 27,409 new coronavirus infections on Tuesday, taking the country’s tally to 4,26,92,943, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
The active cases dipped to 4,23,127, with the recovery of 82,817 patients in the last 24 hours.
The death toll climbed to 5,09,358 with 347 fresh fatalities, the data stated.
With the administration of more than 44.68 lakh (44,68,365) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 173.42 crore (1,73,42,62,440).
