Dimapur, Mar. 4 (EMN): Nagaland recorded a single-day rise of three Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, taking the tally to 35,417 while active caseload declined to 64 with recovery of 18 patients.
The state’s cumulative recoveries also increased to 33, 115 and the death toll rose to 753 with one fresh death reported in the last 24 hours.
According to an update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, two positive cases were reported in Kohima and one in Mokokchung, while eight in Dimapur, three each in Kohima and Peren, two each in Mon and Tuensang recovered.
Out of 64 active cases in the state, 58 are asymptomatic and six mild.
In terms of distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 44 infections, 14 in Kohima, five in Mokokchung, and one Wokha, while Mon, Tuensang, Peren, Zunheboto, Longleng, Phek and Kiphire are currently Covid-19 free.
