Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): Nagaland reported 24 fresh coronavirus infections on Sunday pushing the Covid-19 tally to 30864 cases.
Out of the 24 cases, 13 were reported in Dimapur, nine in Kohima and two in Longleng, according to data from the department of Health and Family Welfare.
The active cases declined to 484 with 28 recoveries reported in the last 24 hours. 11 recoveries were reported from Kohima, nine from Mokokchung, seven from Dimapur and one from Mon.
Meanwhile, the death toll stands at 639.
India reported 30,773 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, taking the country’s tally to 3,34,48,163, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
It said the death toll climbed to 4,44,838 with 309 fresh fatalities.
Meanwhile, the active cases declined to 3,32,158, with the recovery of 38,945 patients in the last 24 hours.
It stated that with the administration of 85,42,732 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage surpassed 80 crore (80,43,72,331).
